Tax Manager


• Manage the preparation of federal, state, and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments in a timely manner.

• Recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues.

• Maintain compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.

• Revise internal procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions for a variety of clients.

• Obtain and reconcile GLs for various clients, and prepare necessary adjusting journal entries prior to preparing tax returns.

• Responsible for creating and/or maintaining depreciation, amortization, and/or any other necessary regular or year end schedules.

• Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting.

• Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and meet deadlines.

• Collaborative, willing to adapt, and a team player.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with Yardi, Quickbooks, and Lacerte a plus.
