Medical Sales Director

The Sales Director is responsible for partnering with the sales team to increase sales and lead in the market presence. The ideal candidate will be a passionate high-energy executive with a team spirit, flexible, innovative, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

  • Develop sales plans, including prospecting and establishment of new client relationships within successful markets
  • Forecast deal flow, architect and negotiate deals and manage the P&L
  • Drive business development and strategic partnerships within specific markets through the support and development of a high-performance sales organization
  • Partner with surrounding teams and leadership to optimize the collaboration approach and sales success
  • The ability to navigate relationships with clients and prospects with multiple influencers and stakeholders
  • Analytical reasoning, creativity and conceptual thinking to operate in strategic settings as well as more tactical environments
  • A consultative approach to building and maintaining strong internal and external networks
  • Depth of knowledge of the needs and challenges faced by our potential clients
  • Team orientation with a focus on mentorship to contribute to a collective goal
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to lead, support, and maintain multi-year, multi-million-dollar relationships at the senior levels of large, demanding, and highly complex clients
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Develop strategies for the market including targeting sectors and clients within the market, develop successful marketing approach and KPI's to measure success
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree in business, health care administration, marketing or a related discipline desirable
  • Pharma/diagnostics/precision medicine background preferred
