In this role, you will support Sr. Director of Real Estate in the execution of day to day projects and tasks in close coordination with Landlords, Property Managers, Contractors, Project Managers, Attorneys and internal stakeholders (Store Ops, Design and Construction, Facilities, etc.)

You will assist in providing day to day support to the Real Estate and Construction team. We are looking for detail oriented, innovative and critical thinking that will assist the real estate development team in being more efficient in the processes and procedures of opening new stores.


Lease administration and renewal:

o Ensure accuracy of Lease Database, generate reports as needed and monitor critical dates (renewals, rate increase dates, options, etc.)

o Review enquiries of landlord billing and resolve discrepancies

o Coordinate with outside counsel on the preparation and execution of leases, Estopped certificates & SNDA's.

o Perform initial landlord contact to obtain LOI and ensure proper tracking

o Coordinate with finance and accounting to ensure landlord billing is accurately captured into the accounting system.

Administrative Support:

o Assist in coordination of store development activities

§ Tracking and follow-up on status of new deals

§ Manage flow of information from brokers & landlords regarding new deals

o ESRI/ArcGIS, Retail Scientifics, Google Earth Pro

§ Gather data and information (i.e. demographics, market data, pertinent co-tenant sales, dealer sensitivity, etc.) for evaluation of potential sites

o Prepare/consolidate Real Estate Committee presentations for senior management review

o Assist Project Manager in establishing project budgets. Track invoices as needed and maintain budget worksheets

o Coordinate with Construction and Legal on contract coordination and reporting project costs in response to any contract issues

o Communicate and coordinate with internal departments related to new store openings

o Prepare construction legal forms/contracts, change and purchase orders

o Works with Contractors, Architects and Project Manager to monitor and expedite the development process to meet corporate growth goals

o Review job authorization provided by Project Manager to initiate new job set-up with accounting and maintain project budget worksheets to track job status


• BA/BS or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience

• Experience in Hospitality/Restaurant space a plus

• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment

• Strong stakeholder management skills including ability to research, consult, negotiate, resolve conflict and influence change

• Working knowledge of construction terminology, construction trades

• Read and interpret various types of lease documentation and abstract critical terms, conditions and provision

• Highly proficient with MS Office suite, ProLease (or similar) and ServiceChannel (or similar)
