PeopleSoft Developer:

Use hands-on technical knowledge to handle technical analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, implementation and post-implementation support of PeopleSoft Applications.

• Work closely with Business Analysts to develop or maintain PeopleSoft systems as designed, consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives, and applying judgment to make informed decisions.

• Produce documentation to describe custom configuration of PeopleSoft Applications and operating procedures to liaise with third party application development consultants. Produce technical documentation on project activities.

• Act as production support for business systems like PeopleSoft. Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.

• Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues, providing first level support and assisting in troubleshooting for PeopleSoft software application issues.

• Coordinate application development for multiple projects, including prioritizing, meeting deadlines and handling changing priorities.

• Assist in managing and outsourcing relationships for third party application development and programming consultants. Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements. Analyze data in corporate databases to identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems.

• Provide assistance and advice to business users in effective use of applications and information technology. Verify database and data integrity

• Perform detailed technical analysis and capable of documenting functional/technical requirements and system impact to ensure the successful delivery and support of various applications. Work with business to analyze business processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance

• Conform to established coding standards, follow standard deployment and SDLC processes and review the work of other programmers to ensure quality standards are met.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: 5 Years of progressively responsible directly related post-degree experience. Inclusive of 4 Years of experience handling PeopleSoft application development, and 2 years of experience with at least 4 of the following PeopleSoft Technologies: Application Engine, XML Publisher, Component Interface, Integration Broker, PSQuery, Web services
