* Hands on payroll processing and accounting, including bonus,

commission and benefits payments for approximately 200+ of multi-state

employees. Manage third-party vendors and the preparation, analysis

and maintenance of all payroll related reports, including governmental

and regulatory filings.

* Maintain the payroll interface and payroll-related general ledger entries

* Manage and prepare monthly GL entries for Bonus, Commissions, and

PTO accruals. Position will also maintain a rollforward

reconciliation of the activity for these areas that will be used for

accounting purposes.

* Assist during year end audit for payroll related questions and for

the account reconciliations that they are responsible for.

* Develop and enforce payroll policies and procedures to ensure proper

internal controls and efficient processes

* Administer all payroll financial systems ensuring integrity and

integration of payroll databases into the appropriate financial and

management reporting systems

* Assist Human Resources with payroll audits, agency, and employee inquiries.

* Oversee 401k handling, funding, audits and manage relationship with

third party vendor.

* Assist with employee T&E expense administration and reimbursements.

* Assist accounting team with other GL functions such asreconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets,

accounts payable, etc. GL team can train this individual to complete these reconciliations. Thus, while

GL experience is preferred, it is not required. However, individual should expect to be involved in

various accounting projects and assist with month end close. Responsible for continuous improvement

and lead implementation of best in class payroll and employee-facing systems.

* Assist with special projects as needed


* BS degree or equivalent (in accounting or Business/Finance related courses)

* CPP and CEP designation preferred

* Minimum of 4 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience

including companies with 200+ employees

* Prior accounting and GL account reconciliation experience preferred

* Public company and Sox Compliance experience preferred

* Advanced system skills including HRIS, benefits administration, time

tracking, and payroll systems required

* Experience with ADP (esp WorkforceNow) is required

* Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices

* Thorough knowledge of payroll-related state, legal, tax and

compliance regulations

* International payroll experience preferred

* Excellent management and organizational skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface

and establish rapport with all levels of the organization

* A proactive, high energy attitude geared towards achieving

continuous improvement

* Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, and data
