Pay: Up to $82/hr.

As a Local Partner Manager for our Client's technical skills training program, you will support their Tour, which is bringing free digital skills trainings to libraries across every state in the country. You will provide operational support for the Tour and help coordinate Tour stops with a cross-functional team. You will form strong relationships with library and small business partner organizations, coordinate with them and the cross-functional team to plan for and execute successful events, and help tell the story of the Tour. You will help lead the Tour in your states by traveling with the Tour and ensuring everything runs smoothly and key goals are met. You are a self-starting, multi-tasking, people person who is attentive to detail. You respect and enjoy the power of spreadsheets. And you are passionate about leveraging our Client's technology, platforms and programs to provide Americans with the opportunity to prepare for work, find a new job, and grow their businesses.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and cultivation of local libraries and small business organizations that will work with the team to host free digital skills training events around the country, and then continue to deploy digital skills trainings in their cities after the Tour leaves.
  • Provide key day-to-day support to the cross-functional team that is planning and executing the full national Tour.
  • Own all community engagement aspects for the states to which you are assigned.
  • Distribute creative assets to partners and secure any potential quotes for press releases, with keen attention to detail.
  • Spend roughly 50% of your time on the road executing the Tour.
  • Research and write background materials to help Tour planning.
  • Monitor, track, and report on Tour activity.
  • Communicate and collaborate across a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS in any field. In lieu of degree 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in nonprofit management, community organizing, coalitions, field campaigns, advocacy, or social impact.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with GSuite tools and social media.
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and produce results.
  • Demonstrated experience working in/with historically under-served communities.
