Consolidations Manager

A global provider of business services who brings more visibility and added value to organizations is seeking a Consolidation Manager to manage their global consolidations and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a mixed background in public accounting and industry. You will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, Global Consolidations, M&A, Stock Comp Calculations, FX gain / Loss Calculations, Equity Roll forward, Leases, Revenue Recognition and FLUX analysis.


  • Manage monthly consolidations of worldwide entities (50+) including intercompany elimination process and foreign currency translations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Statement of Equity and Cash Flows
  • Review FLUX analysis of BS and IS and related supporting information
  • Prepare quarterly and annual Cash Flow Statements by legal entity
  • Prepare and review monthly stock comp and profit-sharing entries
  • Prepare monthly reporting and close calendars and coordinate with all entities for the timely financial reporting and analysis
  • Track all intercompany eliminations and top sided entries
  • Expertise in M&A, including preparation of Purchase Price Allocations (PPA), determination and accounting for Goodwill and Intangibles
  • Manage the accounting of all holding companies and coordinate with legal, treasury and HR to maintain the documentation for the holding companies
  • Maintain global chart of accounts and cost center structure in Sage ERP system
  • Coordinate with Sage IT for all system related matters and set up new entities or update changes to existing entities
  • Serve as the key point of contact and direct liaison with international controllers for consolidated financial information
  • Flexibility to work on special projects as assigned by management and willingness to work on other duties as defined by company demands
  • Support and coordinate with consolidation and reporting group, including preparation of SEC reporting packages
  • Design, implement and maintain appropriate controls for the consolidation and intercompany accounting process
  • Manage SOX compliance, documentation and walk-throughs
  • Interface with internal auditors and external auditors, including management of all PBCs related to global consolidations


  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance; Masters and/or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8+ years related accounting and finance experience including 2-4 years of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and 3+ years of management level experience.
  • Strong Excel skills including PIVOT tables, VLOOKUP etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and should be able to deal with global accounting teams independently.
