Compensation and Benefits Manager / Director

Will direct the planning, administration, and implementation of all compensation programs and policies including job descriptions, compensation management, incentive programs; Manage all benefits programs (life, health, disability insurance and retirement); Lead Payroll and HRIS teams.

Location: Sonoma County

Compensation: Up to $150K


* Design, implement, and manage salary classification and compensation programs

* Conduct analysis of compensation and benefits within company

* Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scale

* Oversee competitive analysis, merit increases and salary structure

* Develop job descriptions for various positions and determine appropriate base pay

* Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments

* Forecast budget for salary increases

* Administer and manage employee insurance plans

* Oversee retirement savings plans

* Advise on salary increase requests

* Research job requirements, structural and functional relationships among job families and assess trends

* Advise employees on state and federal employment regulations, benefits and compensation policies, personnel procedures and total rewards programs

* Develop and administer performance review system to ensure compliance with salary administration guidelines

* Prepare and manage the department budget, ensuring expenditures remain within organizational guidelines

* Maintain due diligence while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws in all matters related to compensation and benefits

* Provide consultation to management and Human Resources regarding market trends, job, classifications, and application of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines


Minimum 3 years of management experience in Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and Performance Management

SPHR, SHRM-SCP Preferred
