Job Title: AR Clerk
A growing security hardware company is hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk to help them collect overdue funds, respond to important questions, and process credit applications. The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys being challenged, creating efficiencies, and has great problem-solving skills.

AR Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for collecting overdue funds
  • Appropriately notates customer accounts, and make necessary changes to account
  • Performs various clerical tasks as required, including opening and routing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, and assist with answering phones as needed.
  • Responds to telephone inquiries and assists in answering questions related to the status of customer accounts; mail copies of invoices or credit card receipts.
  • Performs limited research in preparation for updating records, such as updating customer mailing address.
  • Process incoming credit applications
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records.

AR Clerk Requirements:
  • At least an AA in Accounting (Bachelor degree preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience
  • Great communication, both verbally and written
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
