Production Supervisor (Day shift) - To $80K Location: Santa Rosa, CA Compensation: To $80K plus benefits The Production Supervisor is responsible for all planning and execution of operations for including staffing, inventory and warehouse management, shipping and logistics, manufacturing, compliance. Responsibilities? Product Team Management? Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.? Supervises production staff to ensure product quality and integrity and ensures all finishedproducts meet or exceeds customer requirements.? Creates and maintains an environment that is conducive to retaining associates.? Consistently administers Company policies and procedures. Supports and promotes theCompany's and team goals through effective and efficient planning, communication andcoaching, training, and overall direction of the workforce.? Lead assigned staff through coaching, counseling, motivating, and disciplining as needed.planning, monitoring and appraising job results; directing and maintaining activitiesdesigned to achieve and maintain high employee morale, fostering intra- andinter-department cooperation.? Enforce procedures, rules, and regulations; monitor all safety and security systems andprocedures on a regular basis.? Be team aware, gauging workflow and workloads; implement programs and policies toensure positive company culture and team health.Manufacturing Operations & Fulfillment? Oversee all internal operations to assure the company meets production targets andschedules and works most efficiently and sustainably.? Develop, implement, and ongoingly refine SOPs for all manufacturing and fulfillmentprocesses.? Manage and oversee the team to independently handle receiving orders, building pallets,checking orders, and coordination of order pick-up.? Serve as team escalation support, providing change management and issue mitigation.? Develop, implement, and ongoingly refine a safety program providing compliantdocumentation, staff training schedules, and up to date hazardous materials safe handlingand reporting practices.? Implement or oversee changes to equipment and systems, e.g., purchasing process,installing the bottling line, and infrastructure and equipment improvements.? Inventory Management? Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities to ensure efficiency,effectiveness, sustainability of operations, and inventory accuracy.? Assure all production materials are stored and handled in a way that prevents staff injuryor financial loss.? Maintain effective batch tracking and implement recall procedures if necessary.? Direct and coordinate activities between departments concerned with the production anddistribution of products.? Administrative Duties? Via weekly meetings and frequent communication, work with the CEO and leadershipteam to assess the production team's performance and plan future growth anddevelopment: implement strategies and periodically report on progress and efficacy ofimplemented plans.? Manage select third-party providers of outsourced goods and services supporting withoperations? Maintain frequent coordination with the CEO and leadership team to review methods andapproaches to effectively implement work instructions, exchange ideas, review shiftactivities and paperwork, and initiate corrective actions as needed.? Protect company confidential information by properly storing, retrieving, anddisseminating such information only to those authorized.
