Production Designer (part-time)

San Francisco, CA


Position Overview

The company is looking for a Production Designer for marketing campaigns and collateral. The position will produce high quality visuals that reflect the brand and functionality of our technology. This position will work closely with the Marketing and the Design teams to craft and shape the narrative of our company and products, including both internal and external-facing deliverables.

About the Position

You will work about 20 hours/week (or more) with a focus on transforming complex technology concepts into simple and easy to understand experiences. The successful candidate will possess strong design principles, be an effective communicator, and have a track record of delivering work that requires strong attention to detail.

Production Designer Role and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute designs and content for marketing materials for both print and digital requirements
  • Illustrate concepts through rough layout and copy based on creative briefs and existing brand guides
  • Edit graphic elements across presentations, datasheets, event graphics, ads, and email templates
  • Design internet ad creative, including banners and landing pages, to help generate leads
  • Illustrate compelling presentation experiences based on raw materials and copy taken from subject matter experts

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • A portfolio of graphic design projects that showcase strong design principles and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to turn complex ideas into simple and engaging visuals
  • Ability to clearly articulate design ideas to a broad audience
  • B.S./B.A. (or working towards) Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Art, Interaction Design, or related field
