Compensation: $150 - 175k

The ideal candidate will responsible for leading the IT/Networking Division and ensuring that is fulfilling its mission to provide a standardized, secure and stable platform to the business. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems. The Director must exhibit strong hands-on technical skills, project/team leadership skills across a variety of audiences and technical subject areas. They must possess a cross-functional skill set, including experience in communications, business analysis, project management, process engineering, and information systems. The Director must demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage a cross-functional team of diverse capabilities and disciplines.

Job Title Responsibilities:
Working with the Executive team, help plan and implement the next generation of technology and services within the scope including selection, prototyping, piloting and transition to operations.

Experienced in managing complex, multi-platform, distributed environments (servers, networks, applications, systems monitoring and management).

Lead and manage the IT staff in a growing company.

Collaborate with management in strategic and business planning.

Maintain accountability to upper management for ensuring that the IT department's mission is carried out.

Plan and manage all IT processes of multiple physical office locations and a mobile field staff.

Interact with internal staff to ensure high service levels to internal and external clients.

Ensure that all information system procedures, solutions, specifications, protocols and templates are regularly and consistently documented for use by staff.

Mentor IT staff to increase the technical knowledge of the department, ensuring development and growth opportunities for all members. Conduct regular coaching meetings and prepare career development plans.

Recommend, analyze, and evaluate improvements IT applications, infrastructure and architecture.

Evaluate, streamline, and audit systems and software to make recommendations on how to increase utility while managing spend.

Job Title Requirements:

Forward thinking with high degree of customer service focus and strong communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Bachelor's Degree and/or pertinent technical training in computer science, information systems or closely related field plus at least 10 years of relevant information systems work experience, including at least 6 years of network management and support as well as personnel management and administration experience.

• Has in-depth knowledge of / skills in the content areas of:

- Microsoft network environment

- Accounting software Spectrum and databases

- Crystal Reports

- Outlook email

- PC troubleshooting

- Hardware technologies

- Core Internet and networking protocols

- Information / Data Security
