Requirements

  • 6-10yrs experience as a product manufacturer Director of Engineering
  • A sound track record developing and leading an established engineering department or division
  • A willingness and desire to be a hands-on manager, committed to working with your team
  • MS Office, familiarity with ERP software and Autodesk
  • Bachelors, Mechanical Engineering
Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic planning and implementation for the overall Production and Engineering departments, including R&D
  • Oversight of forecasting production schedules, with an eye towards meeting all objectives for the organization, including new product development and review/improvement of existing products
  • Manages change process, approval and rollout, as well as ensuring the high quality expected as an industry leader in engineered products
  • Provides a skilled and responsive technical support team for all engineering customers, distributors and sales staff
