The Divisional Controller has the essential role of managing a team of accounting professionals to produce excellent outcomes, ultimately ensuring quality, accuracyand timeliness of the financials by managing day-to-day accounting activities. Heor she will oversee accounting for our schools.


Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000

Job Title Responsibilities:
• Work with the Controller to review and streamline current processes across the

Accounting department.

• Ensure quality and timeliness of financials by directly overseeing the work of theGeneral

Ledger accountants and the Accounts Payable team.

• Break-down Accounting Strategic Initiatives into individual employee goals and fine-tune tools to track performance over time.

• Promote teamwork, support morale and provide professional development to the team members.

• Promote and lead an environment of continuous improvement.

• Help team get from 97% grant capture to 100% grant capture, to ensure every dollar goes to students.

• Help lead the way in a significant financial investment in this department through a new ERP system to achieve all time high results to ensure school leaders have excellent information at all times.


Job Title Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years work experience in general accounting, non-profit experience highly preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years experience supervising a team of 4.

• CPA is required.

• Demonstrated leadership managing teams.

• Multi-state experience highly preferred.

• Ability to maintain positive relations with colleagues at all levels.
